Jubilee Week

I went to Crick boat show on Sunday, I haven't been there before.
The weather wasn't brilliant, but it could have been worse.  I saw Swift, which had carried Marstons Beer to the show.

There were a lot of interesting stalls there, I had a long chat about toilets with the guy from Leesan, about gauges with MCS, Fridges with Shoreline, and a chat with Baddie the Pirate about solar panels.  The suits at Vetus just turned their nose up at me, sod 'em, I don't want an overpriced Yellow Engine anyway.

I enjoyed the day, but I can't see myself spending more than a day there.  It was a week before payday, so I couldn't spend too much anyway.

The Queen popped in to the brewery for a swift pint of Stout (through a straw).

Wednesday, I saw Vin Garbutt (aka Vin Who?) at the Orange tree.  This guy has got to be the funniest musician around.

I noticed the herb garden outside the Orange Tree.  What a great idea.

Tatton weekend was the usual Chaos.  One young girl had a Husky Puppy, which was centre of attention in the beer tent for a while.

The older Husky was more interested in the bottles of mead though.
