I'm getting to old for all this...
I went down to Glossop with Chippy Paul & Heather to see Tracey Browne at the Oakwood.
This is a great little venue, with a good selection of English & continental beers. I wil have to come here again.
Tracey was great, finishing with an Irish song, no instruments, just her fantastic voice.
I still haven't decided what to do at the front of the boat, but I might put some diamonds on, like this boat I saw at Leeds
Tatton Park was a lot of fun, but getting hard work. We had no trouble selling the beer that was thrown out of the house of commons though.
The beer was to commemorate 150 years of a local morris dancing team. However, someone has decided that this is racist because they have their faces blacked.
They have blacked out faces because they are coal miners you stupid b******$.
I got back to the boat, and Kia has got his barge out of the water next to me. This was apparently built in 1916 (that's about a quarter past seven) so we should be able to have a 100th birthday for it soon.
