Busy, busy...

Very busy at work, and no time for the boat...

Well, August is here, with the rain and everything. Managed to get a few minutes to have a look at Bank Top Brewery's new pub. Very nice.

Scouser J has the port side of the boat all sanded down now, it is time to start on the final boat colour.

Not Brassed off at all...

Haven't seen any music for what seems like ages. The festival "season" will soon be over though, so I should get to see a few bands soon...

The mushroom vents are now on, and at least the roof looks like it is making progress now! I'm sticking with the "no brass" theme, so all stainless mushrooms.

Paint it Blue (reprieve)

Good Idea! The boat now has a blue roof, with anti slip and everything!
amazing what you can do when the sun shines
a little!

Leeds Liverpool is shut at the
moment, so I can't get anywhere in the boat (even if it was finished).

Found a great little restaurant on Thomas St in Manchester and had a great meal of Smoked haddock, followed by Pork Belly on Mustard mash. Yum!

You make your choices...

Saw Ade Edmonson and the Bad Shepherds at the Lowry in Manchester. Superb again.
I've decided (you come to all sorts of decisions and revelations when doing a project like this) that
a: I'm busy with (paid) work.
b: I can't seem to book the good weather for the weekends.
So I've given Scouser J the job of slapping a bit of paint on the boat, in between rain showers.

Went to Manchester on Sunday and had a banquet with some friends at Wing Yip. Superb, well stuffed, and one destroyed tablecloth!

Saw Richard digence at Radlet Centre. Very funny. I haven't got time to go to Fairport Convention this year, so I will miss his "graveyard slot".
